Need a QR code? Producers and gateway operators can generate one here: CallerCam QR Generator. Enter your host, port, stream ID, latency and passphrase, and it produces a code your camera operator scans to provision the app instantly. Nothing is uploaded — the code is generated in your browser.

Frequently asked

Where do I get a QR code to scan?
Your producer or gateway operator generates one with the CallerCam QR Generator. You can also skip the QR entirely and tap the gear icon to enter the connection details by hand.
Do I need a server to use CallerCam?
Yes. CallerCam is a contribution camera — it sends video to an SRT gateway you provide (for example, a standard SRT receiver on your network or in the cloud). The app ships with no gateway baked in.
How do I connect?
Scan the QR code your producer generated, confirm the details on the card, and press the red button. Or tap the gear icon to enter the host, port, stream ID, latency, and passphrase manually.
It won't connect — what do I check?
Confirm the gateway host and port are reachable from your network, that UDP traffic is allowed, and that the passphrase matches. Tap the log button for a plain-language diagnostic of the last attempt.
Can I test without a live camera?
Yes — tap the film icon and choose Test Pattern to stream SMPTE bars and a tone, or pick a video file from your library.
Where are my settings stored?
On your device. The passphrase lives in the iOS Keychain. Use the wipe button in Settings to erase everything.
